Phool Singh Bisht Rajkiya Mahavidyalaya, situated in Naughar, Lambgaon, Tehri Garhwal, was established by the Uttarakhand State Government under G.O. No. 2771/MHRD 2001, dated August 10, 2001, with the goal of enhancing the quality of human resources in the remote and hilly terrain of the Pratapnagar Development Block in Tehri Garhwal. As our institution primarily serves rural first learners, especially girls, residing in the economically and socially disadvantaged interiors of Tehri District, Uttarakhand, our mission is to promote their economic and social upliftment.
We take pride in being an ISO 9001:2015 certified institution, reflecting our commitment to maintaining high-quality standards in teaching, learning, and evaluation processes. The college plays a pivotal role in implementing significant curricular reforms to educate economically underprivileged agrarian learners, and by offering higher education to the rural masses, particularly girls, we aim to make a meaningful national impact.
